### ब्रोकरेज का बयान

Zerodha ने कहा, "जब हमने Zerodha की शुरुआत की थी, तो हमने जानबूझकर दो कारणों से अकाउंट खोलने का शुल्क लिया था। 2016-17 तक कोई आधार या ई-साइन नहीं था, और अकाउंट खोलने की प्रक्रिया पूरी तरह से ऑफलाइन थी, जिससे लागत में वृद्धि होती थी। इसलिए हमें उस लागत को कवर करने के लिए शुल्क लगाना पड़ता था।"

ब्रोकरेज ने यह भी बताया कि पिछले कुछ सालों में पूरी तरह से डिजिटल ऑनबोर्डिंग के साथ स्थिति में बदलाव आया है। कुछ महीने पहले Zerodha ने 25 वर्ष से कम आयु के लोगों के लिए अकाउंट खोलना फ्री कर दिया था ताकि उन्हें जल्दी निवेश शुरू करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जा सके। अब यह सुविधा भारत में रहने वाले सभी लोगों के लिए उपलब्ध कराई जा रही है।
